Henry's passion for music was nurtured whilst undertaking a music scholarship at Shrewsbury School (UK), where he was musical director of several jazz and vocal ensembles, and a gap year as a teaching assistant at the Shrewsbury International School in Bangkok, Thailand. After graduating from King's College London in 2012 with a high honours degree in music, Henry cofounded the young professional contemporary vocal ensemble, Reverie, and worked for a prominent music agency in London - whose roster included the likes of Grammy-award winning, The Swingles Singers - before moving to Hong Kong with the bilingual crowdfunding website, FringeBacker.

During his time at King's he founded the internationally acclaimed collegiate a cappella group, All the King's Men, who toured several parts of the UK, Europe, the USA and Asia as well as receiving awards internationally.
